How we handle your personal data.
A plain-English summary of what data we collect, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Last updated: 2 May 2026 · Interim version. A fuller privacy policy is in preparation and will be published shortly.
The short version. If you submit our consultation form, we collect your name, email, company, role, and the problem statement you typed. We use it only to reply to you. We never sell it. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing connect@cloudnestinfoworks.com and we'll do so within a reasonable period.
1. Who we are
CloudNest Infoworks (OPC) Private Limited (CIN: U62099UP2026OPC240337), an Indian company providing OpenShift consulting and managed services. References to "we", "us", and "our" in this notice mean CloudNest Infoworks.
2. Data we collect
We collect personal data only when you actively give it to us. Specifically:
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, company, role, problem statement | You submit our consultation form | So we can reply to your enquiry |
| Email address | You email connect@cloudnestinfoworks.com directly | To respond to your message |
| Anonymous tester feedback | You fill our Cloudnest Pilot feedback Google Form (only if invited) | To improve the product |
What we don't collect
We don't use website analytics, cookies, fingerprinting, advertising trackers, or any third-party scripts that profile visitors. Browsing this site is anonymous. The Cloudnest Pilot tool itself collects no telemetry — your AWS credentials and conversations stay on your machine.
3. Lawful basis for processing
Under DPDP §6, we rely on your explicit consent, given via the checkbox you tick when submitting the consultation form. We process the data only for the specific purpose stated at the time of collection.
4. Where your data lives
- Form submissions are stored by Netlify Inc. (our static hosting provider) and forwarded to our email inbox at Zoho Mail.
- Email correspondence is stored in our Zoho Mail account.
- Tester feedback (if you submit the Cloudnest Pilot feedback form) is stored by Google in our Google Forms account.
We are the Data Fiduciary; the platforms above are Data Processors acting on our instructions.
5. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We only disclose data when:
- You explicitly direct us to (e.g., to introduce you to a partner)
- It's required by law (e.g., a court order from a competent Indian authority)
6. Retention
We retain consultation form data for as long as needed to follow up on your enquiry, plus a reasonable period for record-keeping (typically 12 months). You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
7. Your rights under DPDP
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate data
- Erase your data (the "right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent at any time, with no impact on processing already done before withdrawal
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity
- Grievance redressal from our Grievance Officer (see §9 below)
To exercise any of these, email connect@cloudnestinfoworks.com. We aim to respond within 7 working days.
8. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS for the website, two-factor authentication on our admin accounts, and strong passwords. Our hosting providers (Netlify, Google, Zoho) maintain their own security certifications. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will notify you and the Data Protection Board if a breach occurs that affects you.
9. Grievance Officer
For any data-related complaint, contact our Grievance Officer:
- Email: connect@cloudnestinfoworks.com
- Subject line: "Grievance — Data Protection"
- Response time: Within 7 working days
If we don't resolve your grievance to your satisfaction, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Changes to this notice
This is an interim notice. A fuller, lawyer-reviewed privacy policy will be published shortly and will replace this page. Material changes will be flagged via a banner on the home page.
11. Children
Our services are intended for IT and engineering professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted data, please email us and we will delete it.
Effective from 2 May 2026 onwards.
